Education is at the heart of our core values, and we love meeting school groups and inspiring a love for animals and the natural world.

We offer two types of visits for school groups, Treat Trips and Educational Trips:

Educational Trips

As well as access to our zoo, play, and rides, you can also choose to include a dedicated, interactive classroom session for your group.

Our education sessions are run by in-house experts and include creative teaching methods and hands-on experience with a variety of animals! We welcome a range of ages and groups including:

Pre-School
Primary
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Secondary and Post-16
Home Educators

Available term time weekdays only
Children under 2 admitted free of charge
Please be aware that only children aged 2 years and above may attend sessions
Number of free adults is based upon children (aged 2+) present on day of visit. Additional adults are £13.50
Winter Deal - Children are discounted to £8.25 during Jan, Feb, Oct, Nov, Dec except secondary and post-16 groups.

Teachers' Open Days

We hold regular open days for teachers who are interested in bringing groups to Drusillas. We offer school representatives complimentary tickets to attend our Teacher Open Days (which also include access to the whole Park) so you can meet our friendly team, and see the engaging sessions we can offer your group.

Awards

We are also proud to have been awarded a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge for another year!

The LOtC Quality badge is the only national award assessing both the quality of risk management and educational provision across all types of learning outside the classroom.
