Yellow-Breasted Capuchins
Sapajus Xanthosternos
Yellow-breasted capuchins have golden-yellow fur on their chest, belly and upper arms, and brown fur on their backs. They have a long tail which they use when climbing.
Yellow-breasted capuchins live in tropical forests in south-east Brazil.
They are a social species and live in groups of up to 40 monkeys. These capuchins usually have one baby every two years. Males leave the group when they are about four years old; females remain in the group where they were born.
