Summer Fun at Drusillas in August

Award-winning Drusillas Park in East Sussex has something for all the family this summer, with exciting animals, awesome attractions and the chance to meet some of your favourite children’s characters too.

New for 2014, Hello Kitty will visit her home at Drusillas Park on various dates during August (6, 9, 10, 13, 19 and 21). The star herself will greet fans in her beautifully themed bedroom and pose for souvenir pictures. There will also be the opportunity to visit the Hello Kitty Parlour where there’s fabulous face painting, temporary tattoos and a range of hair accessories all available to purchase.

Peppa Pig will also appear on three dates during the month. Join in the excitement and snorts of laughter on 12, 25 and 27 August as the popular piggy embarks on another Drusillas Park adventure together with her brother George. 

Plus don’t be alarmed if the fun refuses to be extinguished when Fireman Sam pays a visit to the zoo on Wednesday 20 August. Come and see everyone’s hero next door, as he appears at intervals throughout the day in the Events Arena. 

The Fat Controller will also being causing a locomotion when he alights on 3, 22 and 26 August to take control of the efficient running of the Thomas & Friends™ railway. Make tracks to Tidmouth Hault and enjoy photo opportunities with Sir Topham Hatt himself. 

With all this, plus the usual animal magic in the zoo, oodles of adventure play and a large themed paddling pool to relax on warm and sunny days, Drusillas has certainly got this summer sorted.
